- Conditional Promotion Fee: 1,500 BDT per student
- Practical Examination Fee: 250 BDT per course
- Examination Center Fee: 450 BDT
- Special Category (2017–18 Failed & 2018 Registered Private Students): 5,000 BDT (fixed amount)

Eligibility Requirements for Degree (Pass) 2nd Year Examination
According to the rules of the National University of Bangladesh, students must meet specific conditions to sit for the Degree (Pass) 2nd Year Examination.
Regular Candidates (700 Marks)
Regular candidates include students of the 2022–2023 session and private registered students of 2023 who passed the 1st Year Examination and were promoted to 2nd Year.
- Must take Bangla National Language as a compulsory subject
- Must appear in the 3rd and 4th papers of elective subjects
- Should participate in all 2nd Year examinations
Irregular Candidates (700 Marks)
Irregular candidates include students from the 2018–2019 to 2021–2022 sessions who were promoted but did not appear in previous 2nd Year exams or were declared Not Promoted. Students who were C-Promoted must sit for the subjects in which they were absent.
- Must take compulsory and required elective papers
- Should complete all required examinations
Failed and Grade Improvement
Students who failed or received an F grade in previous 2nd Year exams may reappear. Students who received C+, C, or D grades in 2023 may apply for grade improvement in up to two papers.
Certificate Course (200 Marks)
Students registered between 2019 and 2024 may appear in the 3rd and 4th papers of 2nd Year. The examination will follow the 2013–2014 syllabus.
